Karen, I notice that you have been a vital part of whatever is happening in Women’s Connection ever since I can remember.
What three words would you say are the most descriptive of you?
My desire is to be Faithful, fun loving and fierce (I didn’t know they all started with F until you asked)
Do you have a life verse or favorite verse to share with us?
One of my current favorites is Romans 12:12 – Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer (NIV)
What three words would you say are most descriptive of your relationship with Jesus?
Dependent, growing and eternal
What fuels your passion for ministry and how has God led you in this through the years?
My passion for ministry comes out of my desire to show women (and men) how the Lord can change a life. He changed me from a non-believing, worldly thinker to a faith-filled freedom fighter.
What are the most significant ways God has stretched and grown you in the past year or so?
The current way God has been growing me is in Patience. This comes after a couple of year’s journey of Trust, both being used to bolster a foundation of Faith. The older I get, the more deeply I see the work of the Lord through life circumstances to deepen my Faith in Him. It will be a life long work.
What advice would you share with women who would like to grow in their walks with the Lord here at Fellowship Church?
Allow the Lord to take you through a life challenge not past it. Believe it or not, we don’t want to miss even one step of the process.
