Women's Connection

It is with a full heart that I look back on my first year as Women’s Ministry Director at Fellowship Church. The stories of God’s work in your lives are truly amazing. Be sure to join us January 12 at the kick off to hear many of them. As God continues to do His work, there have been changes and growth and many of you have stepped into new places of ministry and leadership. Thanks to all of you who serve faithfully in Women’s Connection.

I’d like to let you know of one of the most significant changes on the leadership team. Martie Thomas will be our new Growth Group Coordinator. She will begin corresponding with the growth group leaders beginning this semester. I’m excited to have Martie on board and to begin sharing her with you. I know you’ll enjoy her care and attention to the myriad of details that come with the position of Growth Group Coordinator. She’s anxious to get to know all of you, so please welcome her warmly. Welcome Martie!

Our dear Carla Harris is continuing on the leadership team but will be moving over to her first love…outreach. I’m thrilled to see how she has spearheaded a new ministry focus with the Florence Crittenton Home and although it is fledgling, it is thriving. I’m so grateful for her zealous service and love for our women, and very happy to say she has agreed to remain on the team. Thanks for all you do, Carla!

In addition to the many new growth groups this semester, we’ll have a Summer Series with four class offerings instead of one. We also have the Loving Well retreat planned at the end of the summer. I began this greeting with a heart full from the joys of serving in the past year and it ends filled with the hope of the joys in the year to come. I hope you’ll plan to be a part of Women’s Connection in 2010!
